Job summary

GroupeSTAHL in Mentor, OH is seeking a hands-on shift supervisor to oversee and coach the department team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production in a fast-paced textile printing environment.

You will operate printers, assist with cutting and processing, troubleshoot issues, and help achieve production goals while maintaining a collaborative, fun workplace.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train new team members and coach a department.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to stand 8–10 hours and handle light lifting (up to 10 lbs).
• Flexible to changes in workflow and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coach all employees in department on specific shift.
• Basic knowledge of Transfer Express products and equipment in direct to film department.
• Help run printers, cut, weed, and process.
• Learn how to troubleshoot quality issues.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and enforce safety guidelines.
• Understand current printing and QC processes.
• Set and communicate production goals.
• Monitor production output and identify issues.
