Job summary

The Performance Foodservice team is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment in Lebanon, TN. Expect evening shifts 2:00p.m.–10:30p.m. and a starting pay of $35.00 per hour or more, based on experience and skill set.

Benefits start day one, plus a $1,000 tool allowance annually and uniforms provided. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and reliable, on-call maintenance support for essential food distribution fleets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PM's, tire & wheel, air & brakes, diagnosis, electrical troubleshooting.
• Preferred: Associate/2-year technical education.
• Preferred certifications: EPA, DOT inspections, ASE Heavy Duty.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and maintenance vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspect brakes and steering, and replace worn parts as needed.
• Document work orders thoroughly in the system and perform road calls as required.
• Train other employees and handle related duties as assigned.
