Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and related equipment to ensure safe operation.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and complete repairs while following safety and maintenance standards. The role includes a 2nd shift with a state driver's license required and physical requirements to be met.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required.
• Ability to read labels and follow recipes/instructions.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspensions, and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, fluid checks, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.
