Job summary

A leading foodservice distribution company is seeking a skilled vehicle maintenance technician to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet. The role requires technical training, a valid driver's license, and experience in maintaining heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities include performing inspections and repairs, diagnosing malfunctions, and adhering to safety regulations. Qualifications

• Current and valid driver's license required.
• 1 year of experience in fleet maintenance or 3 years with equivalent skills.
• Annual Inspector Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections on vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
• Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups promptly.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Skills

Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training

Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software

Expert knowledge of vehicle systems

Basic knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
