Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to service medium to heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Road calls may be required, with focus on safety and reliability.

The role features a 4‑day work week (Sun–Wed, 2:00pm–1:00am) with a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and company paid uniforms and boots. Growth opportunities exist within a large food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience including PMs and diagnostics.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Identify root causes of basic failures and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure roadworthy status with proper licensing and registrations.
• Document work orders and repairs in the online maintenance system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and related components.
• Conduct routine diagnostics and support road call services as needed.
