Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at our Aurora, CO facility to lead the dessert production line, ensure food safety and quality, and manage up to 80 workers per shift. You will apply SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards, coach teams, and coordinate start-ups, changeovers and downtime reduction.

This role requires strong communication, flexibility for overtime including weekends, and strict adherence to production specs.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a loud environment.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team.
• Understand GMP and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct up to 80 people per shift, including rotations and training.
• Coach employees to meet food safety and quality standards.
• Operate equipment safely in assigned area.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown and changeovers.
• Minimize overtime; report and manage overtime with Production Manager.
• Maintain production records and daily reports.
• Ensure GMP compliance and cleanliness.
• Schedule and conduct shift meetings with Production Manager.
