Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking an Assistant Custodial Manager for the 2nd shift in Clarksville, TN. The role supervises custodial staff, coordinates daily cleaning operations, and ensures service quality across university facilities. Starting pay ranges between $50,000 and $55,000 per year.

The ideal candidate has extensive custodial management experience and the ability to lead a diverse team, with preferred bilingual Spanish skills and strong proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must have prior management/supervisory experience of 3+ years in custodial services.
• This position is 2nd shift, starting 2PM or 3PM to 11PM.
• Five years custodial management experience in commercial real estate, institutional or academic setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work of supervisors and custodians; manages a staff, inspects areas daily, prepares schedules and biweekly payroll.
• Evaluates performance; handles disciplinary actions and incident reports; counsels employees.
• Designates shift and area assignments; conducts training; implements procedures.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and coordinates supply purchases and events staffing.
