Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking 1st & 2nd Shift Supervisors to oversee custodial and maintenance teams. This role manages daily work, enforces safety practices, and coordinates large cleaning projects across facilities. Strong supervision and communication skills are essential for success.

The position requires shift coverage from 6:00am–2:30pm or 3:00pm–11:30pm on weekdays, with responsibility for safety training and incident reporting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have previous supervisor experience and a track record of leading teams.
• Experience training staff on safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Ability to coordinate daily workloads and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, assign and supervise daily work.
• Lead safety initiatives and train staff in safety practices.
• Coordinate and support major cleaning operations and projects.
• Manage equipment and consumables, and ensure supplies are available.
• Communicate requests and work orders clearly with the team.
• Oversee building emergencies and after-hours responses as needed.
• Enforce quality standards and perform site inspections.
