Golden West Packaging Group is seeking a hardworking individual for the Livermore, CA location. This full-time role operates on the 2nd shift within the Warehouse and Logistics Department, focusing on accurate order shipment and inventory control while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Candidates must be able to stand 8–10 hours, lift up to 75 lbs, and work well in a team. Forklift certification is required or will be pursued after hire.

Qualifications

• Speak, read, write English and basic math at 10th grade level.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours per day in noisy conditions.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Good hand-eye coordination; use pallet jack and weigh scale.

Responsibilities

• Read instructions from current work instructions.
• Mechanical workings helpful.
• Assist in setting up jobs per general specifications or modify if necessary.
• Responsible for quality of work.
• Operate machine per job orders and procedures.
• Initiate actions to prevent problems, document quality issues, and implement solutions.
• Follow safe work practices and participate in safety training.
• Attend in-house quality education classes; assist with training.
