Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC in Lafayette, IN seeks a Crossdock Supervisor to lead a shift, staff and direct day-to-day operations of inbound and outbound flows. You will ensure timely unloading/receiving, loading of shuttles, and compliance with safety, quality and window-time standards.

You will monitor on-time performance, manage KPI decks, train staff, update SOPs, and collaborate with customer service to communicate delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business related field is required.
• Ability to apply statistical techniques to shipment and delivery data.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tactical and operational planning of inbound/outbound logistics.
• Monitor loads for on-time receipt and window conformance.
• Enforce safety rules and guidelines.
• Train, test, and certify all material handlers.
• Oversee receiving and loading of trucks and required paperwork.
• Maintain SOPs and work instructions for customer programs.
• Manage KPI deck for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
• Communicate late loads to customers and prepare performance reports.
• Ensure regular attendance and a clean, safe workplace.
