Job summary

Venture Logistics in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Crossdock Supervisor for the 3:00 PM to Midnight shift to manage day-to-day inbound and outbound operations. You will lead a team, ensure accurate unloading and loading, and coordinate with the materials group on issues while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in logistics or related field with 1–3 years in automotive logistics or crossdock environments, plus strong analytical skills and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Logistics, Transportation, or business.
• 1–3 years of Automotive Logistics or Crossdock experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound/outbound loads for on-time receipt and delivery window conformance.
• Enforce safety rules and guidelines across the shift.
• Train, test, and certify all material handlers.
• Oversee receiving and loading of trucks and required paperwork.
• Maintain and update SOPs and work instructions for customer programs.
• Manage KPI decks for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews.
