Job summary

Venture Logistics, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Cross Dock Supervisor to lead staffing, direct daily inbound/outbound logistics, and ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments.

Responsibilities include monitoring on-time windows, enforcing safety, training staff, maintaining SOPs, communicating delays, and managing KPI decks for weekly and monthly reviews. This is an on-site, full-time position with at-will employment.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills: apply fractions, percentages, ratios to shipments.
• Reasoning skills: solve problems, analyze data, draw conclusions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tactical and operational planning of inbound/outbound logistics.
• Monitor loads for on-time receipt and delivery window conformance.
• Enforce safety rules and guidelines.
• Train, test, and certify material handlers.
• Oversee receiving/loading and paperwork for trucks.
• Maintain SOPs and work instructions for customer programs.
• Communicate delays and KPI updates to customers and teams.
• Manage customer KPI decks for periodic reviews.
• Track and improve key operating performance indicators.
