Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Wisconsin is seeking a Transformer Assembler for the 2nd shift to build large three-phase and pad-mounted transformers. You will use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble components and ensure quality.

You will install internal components, align cores and coils, and perform electrical checks, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork. Health benefits and a shift premium are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation offered; must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble transformer components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Install and connect internal transformer components, electrical leads, bushings, switches, and measurement devices.
• Position and secure transformer cores and coils within transformer tanks.
• Assemble and install accessories such as gauges and monitoring equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure proper assembly and quality.
• Perform electrical checks and resistance testing on completed assemblies.
• Operate overhead cranes to move large components safely.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain safety and workmanship standards.
