Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ seeks a skilled Controls Technician to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation and control systems on high-speed production lines. You will lead troubleshooting and mentor Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and support utilities and GMP standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma with extensive industrial controls experience and proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive controls experience.
• Practical knowledge of machine layouts, P&IDs and control diagrams.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software for programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, work orders and manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
