Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Coil Winder (Machine Operator) for the 2nd shift to wind coils for electrical equipment and transformers. You will follow wiring diagrams, use coil-winding machines, and inspect outputs to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit offered; within 50-mile radius of the work location.
• 6+ months of soldering/brazing/welding experience OR welding certificate from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Wind standard coils for dry type transformers.
• Use hook-up/hot work tools to meet production demands.
• Inspect coil quality and conformance to standards.
• Maintain a minimum of 80% productivity time standards.
• Adhere to safety, attendance and punctuality policies.
• Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and presentable.
• Comply with export control and security regulations.
