Job summary

WEG is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift at our U.S. facility. You will operate a transformer coil-winding machine, read Bills of Materials and drawings, and use a brazing torch to splice wire while meeting quality requirements.

Qualified candidates have basic manufacturing experience, US work authorization, and the ability to work overtime. We offer competitive pay ($23.71 to $26.54 base plus $0.75 shift premium) and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k), tuition

Qualifications

• Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Resides within commuting distance; no relocation assistance.
• Has current US work authorization.
• Must complete: talent assessment, interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Safety sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Responsibilities

• Read Bills of Materials, instructions and drawings.
• Operate the machine that makes coils for the transformers.
• Use a brazing torch to splice wire.
• Meet quality requirements of manufacturing procedure.
