Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a Packaging Technician to join our production team on 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm–12:00am). You will set up and run packaging equipment, perform routine adjustments, and conduct quality checks to meet daily production and food-safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability, with opportunities to train colleagues and contribute to a clean, efficient work floor.

Qualifications

• 1 year of production experience as a machine technician or machine operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and/or packaging equipment to process coffee according to the daily production schedule
• Follow all workplace safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs and standard operating procedures
• Perform quality checks, complete required production and quality records, and ensure product meets specifications
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate safety, quality, or production issues to leadership; report equipment issues to Maintenance/Engineering
• Support productivity and efficiency while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Assist with training and guiding team members and temporary workers at the workstation as needed
