Job summary

Custom Engineering is seeking skilled 2nd shift CNC Machinists to operate horizontal boring mills and vertical mills. Competitive pay of up to $30 per hour plus a shift differential is offered. Candidates will be responsible for setting up machines, conducting inspections, and ensuring specified tolerances are met.

Qualifications

• Must have trade certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CNC operation is required.
• Ability to adjust tool lengths and work offsets.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal boring mills, vertical mills, and bridge mills.
• Conduct in-process inspections at machines.
• Study blueprints and sketches to determine tolerances.

Skills

Proficient in CNC operation

Experience with measuring instruments

Ability to read blueprints

Knowledge of G-code commands

Forklift experience

Education

Trade Certification or equivalent experience
