Job summary

Mate Precision Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented 2nd shift Machinist to set up and operate CNC and conventional machines in our climate-controlled Anoka, MN facility. You will read GD&T blueprints, measure outputs with precision tools, and troubleshoot to keep production flowing smoothly.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems and drive continuous improvement, including 5S and Kaizen events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Experience operating CNC and conventional machining equipment with GD&T experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect own work with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components.
• Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems and drive improvements.
• Support 5S, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping initiatives.
