Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Setup Machinist for our 2nd shift. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components, reading complex blueprints and ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of CNC milling experience, proficiency with Mastercam and G Code, and experience with CMM inspection. This is a permanent, full-time position with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC Machinist experience, specifically with setup and operation of CNC milling machines.
• Proficient in using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with tool and die setup and operation; CMM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
• Interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings to determine methods and sequences.
• Use calipers and micrometers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Select and align holding fixtures, tools, and materials on machines.
• Program machines using Mastercam and G Code; perform routine maintenance.
• Use CMM for part inspection and ensure quality records.
