Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Skilled Machinist in Lake Zurich, IL, to operate and set up CNC machines with precision to close tolerances. You will run a diverse line of work, perform programming checks, and assist in training others on CNC operations.

The role requires experience with Okuma Multus, lathe work, GD&T, and strong math/measurement skills. ITAR compliance and on-site work are essential to this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with Okuma Multus CNC machines and high-mix, low-volume setups.
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Strong math skills and precise measuring techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced CNC setup and programming checks on a diversified line of work.
• Troubleshoot issues before engineering involvement and train others on setup/running.
• Operate CNC machines and input data into ERP with accuracy.
• Measure parts to inspection requirements using gages and metrology equipment.
• Maintain close communication with team and management.
