This position involves operating and setting up CNC machines, performing advanced machining operations and training others on technical responsibilities. The ideal candidate should bring 3-5 years of experience, particularly with Okuma Multus, strong mechanical aptitude, and advanced blueprint reading skills. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Okuma Multus and CNC machines.
• Experience in setting up programs for low volume and high mix.
• Advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced setup operations and operate CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot issues prior to escalating to engineering.
• Train others on setup and operation of CNC machines.

Skills

Okuma Multus – 3 – 5 Years of Experience

Experience in Lathe

Ability to follow written and verbal instruction

Good written and verbal communication

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of basic mathematics

Advanced blueprint reading

Advanced understanding of GD&T

Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gages

Knowledge of ferrous and/or non‑ferrous materials

Strong mechanical aptitude
