The position requires an Associate’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology or equivalent, plus extensive CNC programming experience and proficiency in MasterCAM, Mill Turning, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology or related field with seven years CNC programming and setup experience, or ten years CNC programming and setup experience.
• MasterCAM software proficiency and Mill Turning programming ability.
• SolidWorks engineering software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for lathes, mills, and multitasking machines per policies and procedures.
• Set up and validate new programs for new parts and revisions.
• Optimize existing CNC programs to improve quality, cycle time, and tooling efficiency.
• Support production staff by troubleshooting CNC programs and setups.
• Lead or participate in root cause analysis to address issues.
• Prepare tooling requests for new or modified products.
• Update BOMs and BOOs as needed.
• Stay current with manufacturing and machining technology advancements.
