Job summary

Enprotech, LLC in Michigan is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes or mills to produce precision parts and instruments. You will plan CNC programs to control contour-path machining on automatic tools.

The role requires reading blueprints, selecting tooling, determining speeds and feeds, and performing in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. The shift is 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and engineering drawings; knowledge of CNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Machine parts to prints per specified tolerances and determine tool paths.
• Perform quality checks with in-process inspection tools.
• Write and revise CNC programs and setup sheets to guide operations.
