Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to independently set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines; write, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code).
• Strong measurement proficiency using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Measure and verify part dimensions using precision tools.
• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines within the department.
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code).
• Select and adjust proper work holding such as collets and vises.
• Set up and change tooling and offsets for each job.
• Inspect first-run parts and in-process parts for quality.
