Job summary

Enprotech, LLC is seeking a CNC lathe/mill operator in Lansing, MI to set up and run precision parts per blueprints and drawings. You will plan CNC programs to control contour-path machining on automatic machine tools and work with engineers to ensure parts meet engineered specifications.

The role requires five years of CNC experience, ability to read diagrams and tolerances, and strong math and measurement skills. Candidates must be able to work 2nd shift 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and drawings.
• Write machine instructions and cutter lists.
• Perform in-process inspection and quality checks.
• Operate CNC controls and adjust speeds/feeds.
• Work with engineers to meet specifications.
