Job summary

Industrious Group Inc. in Michigan is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set-up and operate CNC lathes and mills, program controls, and produce precision parts per engineering drawings.

You will write and revise machine instructions and ensure quality through in-process inspection tools. The role requires five years of CNC experience, strong blueprint reading, shop math skills, and the ability to work 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation of machine.
• Write program of machine instructions to regulate movement of machine along cutting path.
• Perform quality work checks using in-process inspection tools and devices.
• Must work 2nd shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday.
