Job summary

Enpro Inc. is seeking a mid-level CNC Machinist II to perform lathe and mill tasks within a production cell, learn all CNC operations, and support manufacturing across areas as needed.

You will set up simple operations, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet exacting dimensions with 100% quality. The role requires basic CNC programming know-how, safety awareness, and the ability to train new operators while maintaining equipment and documentation per Quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic safety standards and workplace policies.
• Basic CNC programming experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple or repeat set-ups and operates equipment to produce high quality parts within routed time.
• Follows documented set-up sheets according to procedures.
• Read and understand drawings to manufacture parts to close tolerances.
• Maintains equipment via preventative maintenance schedules.
• Performs first-piece inspections and documents inspection reports.
• Ensure calibration and safe operation of inspection tools; participate in safety procedures.
