Job summary

Eaton Corporation is hiring a CNC Machinist (Operator A) for the 2nd Shift in Glenolden, PA. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, running CNC lathes and mills, and inspecting parts. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 3 years of machinist experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of machinist or tool-maker experience.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints generated per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
• Set up and run CNC lathes and mills in a production environment.
• Inspect GD&T features using basic and advanced inspection techniques.

Skills

Proficiency in trigonometry

Experience sharpening tools

Ability to run equipment in turning/milling operations

Proficiency using a personal computer

Proficient in printed reading and inspection

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Tools

CNC programming software (MasterCAM)
