Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Houston, Texas is seeking a 2nd Shift CNC Machinist to operate CNC lathe and mill machines, read blueprints, and ensure conformance to GD&T specifications. You will set up and verify first pieces, document results, and support preventive maintenance while meeting production goals.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a 3:30 PM–2:00 AM shift. A discretionary bonus is available based on performance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience as a CNC machinist.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and mill to produce parts per drawings.
• Set up machines, perform first-piece inspections.
• Maintain records of production and quality checks.
• Perform routine PM on machines.
