USA Industries, LLC (USAI) seeks a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a CNC machining team on the second shift. You will ensure quality, coordinate tasks, and mentor operators while maintaining safety and production targets. Collaboration with QC, engineering and production is essential for continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes hands-on setup, tool selection, program adjustments, and strict adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of machining experience in a metal fabricating environment with knowledge of CNC Lathes and Mills.
• 3 – 5 years of work experience as a machinist supervisor or similar position is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of operators during the second shift, ensuring smooth operations and efficient workflow.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks among team members, taking into account individual strengths and workload balance.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and operation of CNC lathe, mill, VTL, or other machinery.
• Monitor tool wear and perform tool changes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications; perform first article inspections.
