Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear, a global leader in mechanical power transmission components and related systems, is seeking a Burn Table / CNC Router Table Operator for 2nd shift at our Arlington, TX facility. You will load/unload parts, adjust table settings, monitor torch operation, and inspect cuts for quality.

Ideal candidates have burn table experience cutting ¾” to 8-1/2” material, basic welding skills, and strong attention to detail. This role is on-site with safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Burn table experience cutting materials ¾” to 8-1/2” in a manufacturing environment or equivalent schooling.
• Ability to read and understand process sheets and blueprints in English.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and positioning heavy components.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts onto the burn table and adjust table settings.
• Load and unload the cutting torch and monitor the cutting process.
• Follow process sheets or supervisor instructions to complete tasks.
• Manoeuver large/heavy parts with crane or forklift as needed.
• Inspect cuts for quality and finish using grinding tools as required.
• Keep machines and workspace clean and adhere to safety protocols.
• Inspect finished work to ensure tolerances meet standards.
