Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Centerless Grind Operator for the 2nd shift. The role focuses on grinding external cylindrical surfaces of rotating metal workpieces to blueprint specifications and will begin with days before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of manufacturing centerless grinding experience, can read hand tools and indicators, and are able to stand for long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with precision to tight

Qualifications

• Related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years' experience operating centerless grinding machines (preferred).
• Able to stand, stoop, reach with both arms, and bend for 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Adjust work guides and grinding blades to achieve a round part for finish operations.
• Straighten parts by hand or using hydraulic press in preparation of grinding.
• Dress regulating and grinding wheels per instructions.
• Replace regulating or grinding wheels as needed.
