Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Centerless Grinder I for the 2nd shift. The role includes set-up of parts, quality inspection, and process improvement tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have experience with Manual Grinders and be able to maintain precision under strict tolerances. A stable work history and reliability are crucial, and ideal candidates will understand lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Some experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Some experience with part operation set-up on various Manual Grinders.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprint.
• Must be a US Person per ITAR Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completes set-ups with supervision/assistance.
• Responsible for all phases of part operation set-up.
• Perform quality inspections and maintain records.
• Identify and recommend process improvements.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Part operation set-up on Manual Grinders

CNC/Technology/Machinist trade school certification

Ability to use precision inspection tools

Understanding of machine tool accuracies

Knowledge of cutting tool feeds and speeds

Ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprints

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Familiarity with AS9100, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma
