Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis is hiring a 3rd shift production supervisor to manage milling and precision machining workflows. The role emphasizes communicating expectations, coaching, and ensuring timely delivery across shifts, including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing and at least 2 years in supervision, with knowledge of powdered metals preferred. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent education preferred; will consider HS Diploma/GED with experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Powdered Metals manufacturing or machining background – strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Interface with team members on a daily basis and act as the first line of command in resolving problems and maintaining efficient, orderly workflow.
• Ensuring on-time delivery, management of the flow of materials/parts and control of inventory.
• Coordinate workloads and department schedules.
• Adherence to product and customer specifications.
• Supervises assigned employees and conveys Management’s expectations and direction.
• Will oversee scheduling, training, directing, and motivating assigned employees and making recommendations to Management on their behalf.
