Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Centerless Grind Operator for the 3rd shift. You will operate centerless grinding machines to precision grind external cylindrical surfaces in accordance with blueprints and process guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience on centerless grinders, can read measuring tools, and are capable of maintaining tight tolerances while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience operating centerless grinding machines (preferred).
• Ability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to adjust work guides, grinding blades to achieve a round part for finish operations
• Must be able to straighten parts by hand or use hydraulic press in preparation of grinding
• Must be able to dress wheels per instructions
• Must be able to replace wheels as needed
• Must be capable of adjusting machine operating parameters to maintain tight tolerance and part finishes
• Must be able to read hand measuring tools and indicators
