Job summary

Golden Orchards Senior Living Facility is seeking a Care Staff member to assist residents with daily living activities and medication administration, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Pass medication and assist with medication administration.
• Maintain a clean environment and perform light housekeeping.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures and document medications.
• Assess changes in residents' condition and communicate with supervisor.
• Follow schedules and assist with repositioning and feeding when needed.
• Complete all required documents and charting; respond to call lights.
• Support other team members as needed.

As a care staff and med tech, you will be helping our residents with their daily care as well as assisting with their medication administration. Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
