Job summary

Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate daily living support to our residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health and report changes, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Maintain a clean environment, including light housekeeping.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents' condition and report changes to the supervisor.
• Assist with repositioning and adhering to schedules.
• Document medications accurately.
• Provide safe, compassionate client care and use good judgment.
• Support other team members with duties as needed.
• Respond to call lights and assess residents' needs promptly.
• Assist with meal trays and eating.

As a Caregiver you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents' conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents' needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
