Smith Farms Senior Living Facility in Auburn, IN is hiring part-time Care Staff to assist residents with daily living activities and medication administration. You’ll help promote independence and safety, and there are opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting, administering medications, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. We value teammates who treat residents like family and support from within.

Qualifications

• Care staff assist residents with daily living activities and medication administration.

• Ability to work every other weekend as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Pass and administer medications according to medical charts.
• Maintain a clean environment and follow infection control procedures.
• Document medications and charting accurately.
• Answer call lights and address residents' needs promptly.
• Assist with meal trays and feeding when required.
• Support other team members and complete all required duties.

We are looking for friendly, caring individuals who will treat our residents like family! As a care staff and med tech, you will be helping our residents with their daily care as well as assisting with their medication administration. Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Passing medication is a primary responsibility along with hands-on care to each resident.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to the supervisor.
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts.
• Following schedule, and assisting residents with repositioning.
• Follow procedures regarding documenting medications.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties.
• Complete all required documents and charting.
• Answer call lights and assess residents' needs.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
