Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) at our Itasca facility. You will operate and monitor production equipment, ensure product quality, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet peak demand and cover absences. Prior food manufacturing experience is preferred.

You will follow GMPs, participate in changeovers, and support a culture of safety and teamwork while contributing to efficient production lines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot process equipment.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor confectionery production equipment safely.
• Maintain product quality and sanitation.
• Adjust controls to regulate temperature and feed materials.
• Follow production schedules and complete changeovers.
• Report any safety or quality concerns to supervisor.
