Job summary

Palermo's Pizza in West Milwaukee is seeking a Bakery Lead to coordinate daily production activities, coach team members, and help ensure goals are achieved safely and efficiently. You’ll lead on the production floor, resolve issues, train associates, and promote GMP and food safety while building a collaborative, growth‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience in bakery/food production preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work and support team to meet goals.
• Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities on assigned bakery lines to support production schedules.
• Troubleshooting quality, output, and efficiency issues.
• Providing day-to-day guidance and support to bakery staff.
• Assisting with onboarding and training activities.
• Monitoring material usage and communicating concerns.
• Promoting food safety, GMP, and safety standards.
• Completing and verifying production documentation.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalating safety, equipment, staffing, or production concerns.
