Job summary

Just Born, Inc. in Bethlehem, PA hires a Maintenance & Automation Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls troubleshooting across the plant.

The role focuses on maintaining safe, reliable equipment, developing training for maintenance staff, coordinating with Engineering, and guiding outside contractors to meet GMP standards and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Education: post-high school technical training or an associate degree.
• 5+ years in electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, process systems, instrumentation, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze data using OEE and MES systems.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance operations for safe production.
• Lead instrumentation and controls troubleshooting across plant.
• Identify training needs and develop programs for electrical and controls staff.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Promote safety culture and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate outside contractors for electrical work.
• Maintain plant system documentation and PLC programs.
• Support weekend coverage and plant shutdowns.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new equipment and processes.
