Job summary

Midwest Drycast is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our second shift to lead maintenance programs in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will supervise technicians, optimize PLC-controlled equipment, and drive preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives to maximize uptime.

The role focuses on automation controls, continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Strong background in industrial maintenance and automated production equipment.
Experience with PLC-based control systems and preventive maintenance programs.
Experience with industrial automation and CMMS systems.
Background in heavy industry or precast/construction environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage second-shift maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
Troubleshoot and optimize PLC-controlled machinery and automated production systems.
Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automation-related failures.
Support continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and reliability.
Maintain and improve maintenance documentation and asset records.
Assist with equipment upgrades and automation integration projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
Collaborate with production teams to improve operational performance.
