Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Richmond, KY is seeking a 2nd shift stamping operator to monitor up to 1,000-ton automatic presses and ensure quality stampings per JES and quality standards. You will reference Plex production orders, load coils, and perform on-line inspections to verify process stability and product quality.

Responsibilities include recording results, maintaining labeling accuracy, and upholding safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate up to 1,000-ton stamping presses to meet daily/weekly production requirements.
• Reference production orders in Plex and load correct coils to produce quality stampings.
• Perform on-line inspections, record data, and ensure labeling and packaging requirements are followed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area through housekeeping and safe lifting practices.
• Cross-train on various work centers as needed and assist with documentation (hourly count boards).
