Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Machine Operator II at the Houston, TX facility to safely produce quality corrugated products. You will lead in your crew to maximize machine efficiency, set up orders, perform quality checks, and communicate issues.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires reading a tape measure, basic computer use, and ability to work overtime. Team coaching and potential minor repairs support are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED + 3+ years manufacturing experience OR 4+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
• Experience reading a tape measure to within 1/16”.
• Experience using a computer for typing, printing, and data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine by setting up orders according to customer specifications.
• Perform quality checks by inspecting articles and tracking quality.
• Enter production metrics into a computer system for production tracking.
• Communicate equipment issues and troubleshoot with the team.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Assist maintenance with minor repairs as required.
