Caterpillar Inc. seeks an Assembly and Test Specialist for East Peoria Undercarriage to continuously improve process efficiency through routine assembly and testing. Starting pay is $23.22/hour with a second shift (3pm-11pm) in East Peoria, IL.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and repairing components, operating test machines, and preparing products for shipping while adhering to safety standards and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Understands operation and maintenance of various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, rework and repair machine components.
• Operate test machines to test final drive assemblies.
• Prepare prime products and attachments for shipping.
• Perform salvage operations in assembly areas as necessary.
• Disassemble and reassemble complex assemblies to repair or replace damaged parts.
• May operate remote control crane to move prime products.
