Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Assembly Operator for 2nd shift in Coralville, IA. The role involves performing machine and manual assembly, reading procedures, and ensuring parts meet drawing specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will read and follow work instructions, interface with other teams, and participate in continuous improvement projects. Training on 1st shift may occur initially.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent or 2 years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Willing and able to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Meet internal and external customer deadlines and build parts to drawings.
• Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule; use SAP.
• Participate in cost reduction and waste minimization efforts.
