Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Assembly Operator in Coralville, IA to perform machine and manual assembly on 2nd shift. You will read procedures, follow work instructions, and ensure parts meet drawings and quality standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent (or 2 years of related experience) and US citizenship. You will work onsite, collaborate across teams, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent; in absence, 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine and/or manual assembly.
• Read and follow procedures, routing and work instructions.
• Take ownership of accuracy of processes.
• Meet internal and external customer deadlines and build parts to drawings.
• Demonstrate initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
• Interface with other functions to resolve production issues.
• Participate in cost reduction and waste minimization efforts.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
