Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring for an onsite 2nd shift role focused on welding and related manufacturing tasks in Decorah, IA. You will operate automated equipment, inspect your work, and contribute to on-time delivery while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and manufacturing experience. Training on schematics and processes is provided, with opportunities for skill development and advancement within a leading aerospace company.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) required.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
• Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated welding machines, automated wire stretching, stringing ceramics, immersion testing and other tasks as trained.
• Inspect own work to ensure it meets workmanship standards, engineering requirements and design specs.
• Meet productivity expectations to satisfy customer deadlines.
• Comply with Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality and attendance policies.
