Job summary

Festo Corporation is seeking a Production Team Leader for the Assembly 2nd Shift in Mason, Ohio. You will lead a production line, coordinate resources, and drive performance improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, training, and standardized work within a Shopfloor Management framework. The position entails shift leadership, staff development, and collaboration with logistics and production teams to meet daily objectives and ensure smooth handovers to the next

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• General computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of OPEX production management methods.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of quality control processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate workers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth shift flow with people, machines and materials.
• Manage staff availability and allocate resources across lines.
• Coordinate handovers and prepare for the next shift.
• Develop and maintain standardized work and shopfloor standards.
• Monitor performance against daily indicators and targets.
• Escalate incidents to the Value Stream Leader as needed.
• Lead daily small-group meetings and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety, training, and qualification updates for team members.
